Searcy, Arkansas Wedding Photography {Mr. & Mrs. Allen}

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Michael Allen and Bethany Howell on July 20, 2012 at Cone Chapel in Searcy, AR.  One thing that we LOVE about being wedding photographers is that we get to meet so many fun couples, and there is always something that we leave with from each wedding that stands out.  For Michael and Bethany’s wedding we were reminded what weddings are all about.  It’s not about all the fluff and formalities.  Weddings are simply all about the bride and groom making a commitment to one another in the presence of God.  I’m fully aware that everyone KNOWS that, but so often it becomes more and more about everything else.  What we love about Michael and Bethany is that they would have been happy to marry each other on the side of the road in potato sacks (… I may be exaggerating slightly, but point made!).  While they did keep their wedding simple, we love that their personalities still showed through!  Their wedding was also a first for us in that Michael and Bethany were the first couple we’ve had to sneak out of their own wedding reception!  What a great way to end a wedding that was only about Michael and Bethany beginning their lives together!  We wish these two all the best!  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!
