We were blessed to be a part of Dylan Parker and Alex Shelton’s wedding on December 16, 2012 at Camp Wyldewood here in Searcy. Their wedding day was simply about a girl, a boy, their closest friends and family, and pie. Yes, pie. Specifically, apple pie. Dylan and Alex are one of the sweetest, most down to earth couples, who are surrounded by so many wonderful people. Their wedding day was relaxed, filled with laughter, and music… lots of music. To say love was in the air sounds so cliche, but we could feel love surrounding their entire day. Every time we would talk with Alex about her wedding day, she couldn’t help but mention that there will be pie, lots and lots of pie! Thanks to Sassy Sweets and Alex’s grandmother’s recipe, there was pie. Music also filled the air from songs written by Alex’s brother, Ty, as well as “Country Roads” sang by her mom. We were fortunate enough to be able to record many of these moments on video, so stay tuned for those! We are always so grateful when a bride and groom choose us to be a part of their wedding day and trust us to document such an important day in their lives. It is always humbling.
