A Harding University Proposal {Luke & Courtney}

We have such fun session to share with y’all today…. a PROPOSAL!  We have been super excited and looked forward to this day for a few weeks, and glad to finally share with y’all today!  Luke has been busy planning every detail to make his proposal perfect in every way and a complete surprise!  With the help of Courney’s family & friends they definitely pulled it all off! Courtney was “asked to be a part of a video for the Student Association” this past Sunday by one of her friends.  Of course, the whole thing was just to get Courtney to dress up and go to Cone Chapel where Luke was waiting nervously for her.   Though it seemed like an eternity waiting for Courtney to walk into the chapel, her expression of complete shock and excitement were absolutely priceless! As she walked down the aisle scattered with photographs of their favorite memories together, Luke’s eyes filled with tears.  When Courtney made her way to the front, Luke had a beautiful letter for his future bride.  They both laughed and cried together and sweetly wiped each other’s tears as Luke read the letter.  Finally, after so much anticipation Luke got down on one knee and asked Courtney to marry him.  Of course, SHE SAID YES!  What a beautiful moment!  To top it all off they were overlooking Harding University’s front lawn and their special swing where they first met!  In the wings waiting were about 30 of Luke & Courtney’s family and friends ready to congratulate and hug them both! These two are blessed with so many people who love them and are beyond excited for them to begin their lives together!

Following all the excitement and celebration, I stole them away for a couple minutes to take some photos of just the two of them in some of their favorite places around campus.  Of course, we had to grab a few on their swing!  Courtney’s parents also met and married at Harding, so recreating some of those memories made this day even more special for this sweet couple.  We hope y’all enjoy a few highlights from their proposal!  Thank you so much to Luke & Courtney for allowing me to capture these beautiful memories for you both!  We wish y’all a wonderful engagement, wedding & most importantly, marriage! Congrats you two!
