A Back to School Session {Adalyn & Afton}

It’s been quite awhile since we’ve shared photos of our girls on our blog, so tonight we are going to fix that!  Last night we spent a little bit of time capturing some “back to school” photos of the girls & I can NOT wait to print so many of these!  Adalyn is our 10 year old and started the fourth grade last week.  Our little 31 week preemie weighing in a whole 3 pounds 2 ounces is growing up in to such a beautiful little lady.  She is an amazing big sister and huge helper! We are blessed by her that’s for sure! The years truly do feel so short & so it is soooo important to us to capture as many memories as we possibly can as if to keep the time from slipping right through our fingertips…. it’s not working too well though!   Then we have our 3 year old, Afton.  She is our… free spirit, passionate, & spunky one.  She makes life so much fun and keeps us laughing constantly!  She is fiercely independent, and loves BIG!  She loves her big sister SO much and looks up to her for everything.  Having these two girls is the most precious gift and we are so very thankful to be their parents.  Our life is busy and we work…..a lot.  Long hours in front of computer screens, long days away from them on Saturdays, and more missed dinners in the fall than we’d like, but these girls are AMAZING through it all.  They are loved more than they could ever fathom and we thank God daily for them!
