A Newborn Session | Meet Oliver

Meet Oliver. We FINALLY got to meet this precious baby boy and his amazing parents! This handsome little man was born on October 31st & spent his first few months in the NICU, since he was born prematurely at 28 weeks.  We have been praying for this little fighter and were so very excited that he finally graduated the NICU!  Even though Oliver is 3 months old, he did great for his session, and we sure enjoyed his snuggles! It has been a few years since we wrangled oxygen tubes and pulse ox monitors with our oldest daughter, who was also a premie, but it all came back during Oliver’s session. Wrapping with tubes and wires, as well as,  monitoring oxygen during poses to then remove his nasal cannula for a minute in between shots was a fun challenge for sure, but one that was well worth it for this precious family!  We also had to celebrate this rainbow baby and honor his precious twin sisters, Hazel & Eleanor. We are so sad that we didn’t get the chance to meet them, and so we made these little macrame rainbows in honor of them with help from Laura at Bell & The Whistle. These little ones have the most amazing parents and we have followed their story for a couple of years now. Their journey has been on our hearts and in our prayers for so long that it was such a joy to finally meet them in person and celebrate the miracle that is Oliver.  Thank you for giving us the honor of capturing these images for your family and trusting us to take care of your most precious gift for a morning!
