A Spring Mini Session | Joyner-Mercer Family

We know we say it all the time, but genuinely we mean it when we say it is such an honor and privilege to capture so many amazing memories for our clients and freeze those moments in time.  While most of those moments are joyous and new beginnings, like photographing births and newborn babies, seniors beginning their path into the world on their own, and wedding days when two people start their new life together as one. We have the incredible blessing of also capturing the bittersweet lasts, as well. Last portraits of a bride with her grandparents, last dances, last moments of a mama holding her stillborn baby; some times the goodbye was looming and many times not. Neither one is easy. Both are humbling and a reminder for just how sacred our job is. We have had the pleasure of photographing many joyous moments for this beautiful family, and even though there was much uncertainty surrounding their sweet mama’s health there was so much hope that Andra would fight the ugly C-word that had taken over her body. Knowing that either way she would in fact be triumphant, whether here on earth or in the arms of our Father. Sadly, Andra left this world less than two weeks after this sweet session. Our hearts are broken for her family at the loss of their sweet “Sassy”. Our community knows her beautiful smile well and has kept our babies well dressed in the sweetest outfits adorned with their monogram. She is leaving behind a hole in our little town, but we are certain the legacy she has left behind is one that she should be more than proud of! We love you Joyner & Mercer family, and praying that you find peace that surpasses all understanding from the One who comforts our hearts during our times of need. We hope that these images bring a smile to your faces reminding you of your beautiful wife, mom, & Sassy. Thank you for entrusting us to capture these beautiful sacred moments for you!
