Mountain tops, a golden sunset, happy tears and rain. Most would say that’s a 3 out of 4 for what you would call a perfect wedding day. I would argue it was a 4 of 4. No, 10 out 10.

Trinity and March came down from Northwest Arkansas to meet up with close family and friends from all over the US for their intimate mountain wedding. It was everything you could want in a wedding day. Family and friends that adore you, a golden sunset on a mountain top, a romantic dance in the rain and a party that went all night. Sometimes we get set into what we think the most prefect wedding day should be and we miss the fact that the “imperfections” in life are what make it perfect. Most couples probably dream of a beautiful blue bird sky and white puffy clouds without a chance of a storm in sight, but that wouldn’t have produced the most amazing sunset and awe inspiring view of the mountains that we had. It wouldn’t have given everyone the want for the warmth of the barn. I don’t think I would have given them the dance party they had. Now, maybe they would have gotten the party, given the fun friends and family, but I don’t think it would have started in such an energetic way without the movie perfect moment dancing in the rain. The perfection of the day was found in the storms that surrounded, and eventually, overtook the mountain. The weather drove everyone into the warm cozy barn. No one could wander, no one wanted to drive off into a storm, no one wanted to be in the cold wind. The storm that seemed to be a disruption or “imperfection” in the day, pulled everyone in and more together. Trinity and March got their perfect day full of fun and love. There wasn’t a single thing that didn’t make this the perfect day! Thank you both for having me capture your perfect day.
