An Anthony Chapel & Hot Springs Country Club Wedding | Mr. & Mrs. Phillips

Some wedding days stay with you forever — not just because of the stunning venues or elegant details, but because of the love, legacy, and emotion woven through every moment. Aaron Phillips and Angela Frantz’s wedding day was exactly that — a powerful celebration of love and family. Aaron & Angela choose to exchange their vows at Hot Springs, Arkansas‘ gorgeous Anthony Chapel on March 15, 2025 surrounded by towering pines, emerging blooms, and warm sunlight filtering through the chapels glass windows.

As beautiful as the setting was, what made this day truly unforgettable was the love that filled the space not only between Aaron and Angela, but for someone deeply missed — Angela’s father, David. Though he had passed away before the wedding, his presence was felt in the most beautiful, intentional ways throughout the day.

Before the ceremony, Angela gifted her mother, Roseanne, a beautiful clutch for her to carry with David’s photo printed inside — along with a heartfelt message that brought immediate tears. It was clear from the start that this day would not only be a wedding, but a tribute. Angela carefully pinned her father’s boutonniere to his suit that her mother then draped over her arms as they walked toward the chapel, taking a walk that should have been shared between Angela and her dad.  It was one of the most tender, powerful moments we’ve ever ha the honor of capturing.

Later, during the reception at the Hot Springs Country Club, David’s suit made another moving appearance. As the music began for the Father Daughter dance, Roseanne stepped out onto the dance floor wearing her husband’s suit jacket. It was a gesture that captured the strength and love of this family, and not a single eye was dry. The emotion carried into the speeches — every one meaningful and heartfelt — but it was Angela’s brother who brought the room to tears. Standing in for the traditional father of the bride speech, he shared words David had spoken at his own wedding.

From the tears to the laughter, from the quiet tributes to the joyous celebration, Aaron and Angela’s day was a reminder of what weddings are truly about — love that spans generations, love that endures loss, and love that begins anew. Aaron & Angela, thank you for allowing us to be part of your deeply personal, profoundly beautiful day. Capturing your story — in portraits, details, and once-in-a-lifetime moments — was an honor we won’t soon forget.
