A Back to Oz Session | Ellis & Kendi

We’ve lost count now, but every August we do a Back to School session for Ellis & Kendi. Summer ends and school activities start back up and we just never find the time to do any sort of “official” back to school promo. That hasn’t stopped Beth from messaging every year and booking their session and we love her for it! This year Ellis & Kendi really wanted to dress up. Ellis as the Wizard of Oz & Kendi as Dorothy and we LOVED that they really wanted to let their personalities shine and get creative with it. It just so happened that their session was last night where the storms were rolling in. When most people would ask to reschedule, they decided to roll with it, embrace the weather, and WOW did it pay off! These two rocked their “Back to School” turned “Back to Oz” session. Taylor had a little fun in post production too. Thank you so much to the Lights for always being a blast to photograph and down to get creative!
