Arkansas Newborn Photographer | Meet Arlowe

Sometimes parents decide ahead of time that they aren’t going to schedule a newborn session. Life with a brand new baby can feel overwhelming, and it’s easy to think the moment has already passed. That’s exactly where Kayley found herself. After welcoming her sweet baby boy Arlowe, she originally planned to skip newborn photos. But as those first weeks flew by, she realized just how quickly her tiny baby was already changing. Before she knew it, six weeks had passed—and she reached out to see if it might still be possible.

We are so glad she did! While most newborn sessions are typically done within the first two weeks after birth, we are always happy to work with older babies when our schedule allows. Every stage of a baby’s early days is worth remembering, and 6 week old Arlowe proved just how beautiful those moments can still be. Once we got him wrapped up nice and snug, he settled right in. He did such a great job during his session and even let us capture a couple of extra poses along the way! There is something so special about photographing babies at this age… they are a little more alert, a little more expressive, and still so incredibly tiny! Arlowe was absolutely precious, and it was such a joy getting to photograph him. Kayley, thank you so much for trusting us with your sweet boy and for sharing him with us. It truly means the world to us to be able to capture these memories for families.

And for any moms out there wondering if they’ve “missed the window” for newborn photos—please don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether your baby is two weeks old or a little older, we can still create beautiful images that freeze this fleeting season exactly as it is. Because the truth is… babies change so fast, and every stage deserves to be remembered!
