Arkansas Newborn Photography {Meet Jordan Eighmie}

Welcome to the world sweet baby girl!  Meet Greg and Kim Laing’s beautiful little girl, Jordan Eighmie.  This little one was nothing but a joy to photograph!  She slept through her entire session and would only fuss to be heard when we were switching up a position.  How awesome is our job though! For real!  We get to cuddle with and photograph tiny humans for a living… God is good!  Something that I’ve been thinking a lot about lately is legacy and what we leave our children with when we are gone.  For our family, the number one thing we want to leave imbedded in our daughter, Adalyn,  is our faith in an awesome and powerful God.  If nothing else, that is more than sufficient for us.  Then there are “bonuses” like photography.  What an awesome gift to our children to have their sweet lives documented in photographs! I guess the second part to what I’ve been thinking about lately is that Adalyn is so blessed to have every week, practically, of her life documented in beautiful photographs!  I think I take this for granted sometimes and forget that this opportunity is a luxury to most and not even an option for others.  I know we always have this in the back of our minds during sessions and honestly it is quite humbling.  It causes us to work harder to be creative and to give 125% when we are completely wiped out, so I know that it is a blessing and it’s something I never want to lose track of.  It is a privilege and honor to be the photographer a couple chooses to photograph the most important days of their lives like their wedding and the birth of their children.   On that note, thank you to Greg and Kim for giving us the honor of creating these precious memories for your family!  We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites from Jordan’s session this past weekend!  Don’t forget to leave a comment below and let us know what you want your legacy to be!
